You Can Make It : Masterclass - a hybrid version of YCMI the residential metal clay event which was first held in the UK in 2017.

Hands-on classes mixed with socialising and having some fun. This year it'll be a little different, lighter, smaller, but just as special, educational, and as much fun!​

​Three incredible award-winning artists offering you a 2-day masterclass and a demo day, giving you up to 7 days packed with hands-on learning, inspiration, socialising, and fun!
YCMI : MASTERCLASS is a non-residential metal clay event, taking place at Metal Clay Ltd, Wareham, Dorset (UK), 15-21st October 2025. We'll be there for 7 days - you choose how many of those to attend.

YCMI : Masterclass will run over 7 optional days, featuring up to 6 days of hands-on metal clay magic and a day dedicated to demonstrations and talks. You pick what to attend - take one 2-day class, or join us for all three 2-day classes and the demo day for a full seven days immersion in metal clay!

We're bringing in three exceptionally talented overseas tutors, each teaching a 2-day masterclass x three times during the event. It's a unique opportunity to learn from:
Etsuko Nakayama, Patrik Kusek, and Wanaree Tanner
Three amazing, incredibly talented, innovative, explorative, and gorgeous human beings and tutors. It is a RARE opportunity to be able to learn from these award-winning and leading metal clay artists here in the UK, all in one place.

Attend one, two, or all three classes, plus the demo day, depending on your availability and budget.

Arrange your own accommodation, or travel from home if you are close enough.

There will be around 40-55 participants daily (with over 70 expected on the demo day), so there will be a great buzz and lots of people to meet.

Each day we'll all come together over a long inclusive lunch for food, socialising, fun competitions, and giveaways.

Plus, there will be some shopping opportunities for those interested.
So in short, YCMI 2025 is a non-residential event, in our premises, with three fabulous tutors teaching 2-day masterclasses (three times) and one demonstration day, socialising and fun activities over the included daily long lunch, and shopping opportunities.
You choose where to stay, and whether you come for two or (up to) seven days (by booking one, two, or all three classes + the demo day). Your choice depending on your availability and budget.
